Better start saving ladies...

Her

Love is a beautiful thing, and we’re pretty sure finding the person you want to spend the rest of your life with is a pretty incredible feeling.

What we didn’t expect was the serious costs associated with getting married. Yes, we knew it was expensive, but it seems it’s one occasion where you’ll still feel a serious pinch on your purse.

The latest costs of a wedding is now hitting in around the €21,000 mark… so better start saving some of those pennies now. June is still the most popular month, which will push your price up to €22,220, with New Year weddings in January the least popular time of the year dropping the price to €19,780.

The infograph, based on the 2014 Irish wedding survey by mrs2be.ie is the brainchild of Glen Baker… and it breaks down everything from the length of your engagement to the cost of that all-important dress on the big day.

Better raid the piggy-bank ladies.
