A pub in Queensland, Australia, had the perfect response when a local cafe told breastfeeding mums to “cover up or leave.”
Not only are they extending a warm welcome to feeding mums, but they are also offering a free cup of tea and no obligation to eat.
Their only stipulation is that the mums “relax”.
Manager at the Royal Hotel Gympie, Stacey Louise writes on Facebook:
“We offer a free cuppa with no strings attached. You’re absolutely not obligated to order a meal. Just come in, take a load off on one of our couches and feed bub in air conditioned comfort.”
