Parents in Arizona were stunned when they received a note from a neighbour, who was complaining about the couple letting their child to “run free in your backyard and laugh and giggle and carry on without end”.
No, this really happened…
So why were they so aggrieved by a child playing in their own garden?
According to the typed note, a child laughing and playing is “very disruptive for my two dogs and my bird who sits next to the window and like[s] to look into your yard.”
And if the parents don’t restrain their child or restrict them to 15-20 minutes outside at a time?
Well, they plan to call the police.
Posting the letter to Reddit, the parents who received the note said they were shocked to receive the letter in the mail, especially as they lived in a family friendly area.
