Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson has shared the first image of himself as Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane.
The Game of Thrones star from Iceland, who’s 6’9” tall, shared an image of himself in-costume picture on his Instagram account.

Björnsson is the third actor to play the role of ‘The Mountain’ on the HBO series, to-date. Conan Stevens was in season one and was replaced by Ian Whyte for season two.
So far three roles have been recast for season four including Daario Naharis – with Michiel Huisman replacing Ed Skrein – and Tommen Baratheon, with Dean-Charles Chapman taking the role from Callum Wharry.
We can’t wait for season four.
