It’s not even a week since Christmas, but it seems it’s time to roll onto the next big celebration – at least for some Irish retailers.
We’re still polishing off our selection boxes, but just in case you’re an extreme planner, or you’ve already eaten every Christmas treat in sight, Dealz now have Easter eggs in stock.
Yes, Easter eggs. In preparation for Sunday, March 27th 2016.
Spotted by eagle eyed Her.ie reader Louise Elliott in Dealz, Mullingar, it seems the January sales might be simply clearing the shelves for the next set of holidays we like to celebrate (which clearly includes chocolate):
They’re not the first though, with one Dublin shop beating the country to its Easter prep with their offering in early December.
Amongst all the festive goodies waiting to be snapped up, JCs supermarket was also offering Easter eggs to ease you into your food coma over the Christmas season:
