It looks like Valentine’s Day combined with the leap year has inspired someone to literally take the leap and pop the question… on a billboard.
Spotted above Des Kelly Interiors today, the giant proposal, from someone named Lucy, reads:
“Hey Alex,
“Can’t believe I’m doing this but, spring has sprung,
“It’s a leap year, so here goes…
“Will you be my forever Valentino? Lucy x”

Legend has it that our own St. Patrick started the leap year tradition, which sees women proposing to their partners on the 29th of February.
