Most employers go out of their way to make their job opportunity as enticing as possible but this latest Irish job ad took a slightly different approach.
Visitors to employment website Gumtree may have been a little surprised to come across an ad from an unnamed Limerick company, which didn’t hold back when it came to the tough reality of the job.
For a weekly income of €800, potential candidates are warned to expect “hazardous journeys, bitter cold and long months of complete darkness”.
If that wasn’t enough, the suitable soul who takes on the role (who sounds likely to be a hybrid of Indiana Jones and James Bond) will face “constant danger, with safe return doubtful” but be rewarded with “honour and recognition in case of success”.
While the nature of the job isn’t clear, you’ll definitely need balls of steel for this one!
