Photo: Fairplay! Dublin Driver Writes Letter to Pedestrian Apologising for “Being Rude”

The driver wrote this apology note to the pedestrian who was with her child.

Una Kavanagh

We tip our hat to this woman who made the conscientious decision to apologise for her rudeness to one pedestrian and her child last week.

This letter was spotted stuck to a lamppost in Stoneybatter in Dublin 7.

The note reads:

“To the woman who was crossing this road on Wednesday morning with a child, I’m the girl bipping the horn and being rude to you because I was in an emergency. I’ll probably never see you again but I wanted to say that I’m sorry…”

Who knows? Given the power of social media, maybe the woman may see this note!
