Today marks the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we’re asking our readers to get involved in the Irish Cancer Society’s second annual ‘Paint It Pink’ campaign. 

‘Paint It Pink’ encourages people across Ireland to hold pink fundraisers at home, in their communities or at work to raise vital life-saving funds for breast cancer research and support services.

To register your event and for more ideas about how to get involved visit www.paintitpink.ie. You can also donate by texting Pink to 50300 to give €4 to the Irish Cancer Society.

This year’s corporate ‘Pink Partners’ include Barry’s Tea, Boots Ireland, Centra, Dairygold Co-Op, GAA Jewellery, ghd and Tropical Popical.

From wrapping silage bales pink, to offering a special ‘Paint It Pink’ manicure, each of the Irish companies taking part will be going something different to support the fight against breast cancer in Ireland.
