A new survey has shown that over 50% of people in the UK believe that you can clean a sex toy in the dishwasher.
Over 4,700 people were included in the Ann Summers Great British Sex Toy survey and the results are shocking, to say the least.
According to the Huffington Post, 70 per cent of respondents believe that you can get addicted to your sex toy, while 33 per cent believe that lubricants double up as a contraceptive.
The survey also revealed that people have some very unusual habits in the bedroom, with 45 per cent of people admitting that they have used an “alternative” method when it comes to self pleasure.
Fifty-two per cent said they’ve used a vegetable as an alternative sex toy, 20 per cent had used a home appliance, ten per cent used a kitchen utensil and eight per cent admit to using a candle at any one time instead of a certified sex toy.
