Storm Frank has been causing chaos for days, with much of the country caught under floods.
With Bandon, Mallow and Midleton submerged under water, an estimated 60mm of rain fell in Co. Cork last night.
Now one of the country’s top five star hotels, the Castlemartyr Resort has opened its doors to families in the local area who have been affected by the horrendous weather conditions.
Taking to their official Facebook page, the General Manager Cathal Lynch posted a welcoming message to families who have been forced out of their homes:
