We’ve all asked our other halves their ‘number’ but it turns out that we can’t necessarily rely on them telling us the truth.
A survey has revealed that one in four Irish people lie about the number of sexual partners they’ve had.
And that’s not the only bad news as it seems men and women are more likely to reduce their number rather than increase it.

The survey, conducted by Lloyds Online Doctor, also found that the average Irish person has potentially been sexually exposed to over three million people (3,742,654 people to be precise).
Forty per cent of those asked admitted that they don’t always use protection when having sex with a new partner while the same amount said that had never had an STI test because “they don’t see the point.”
