Since the launch of the Budweiser Dream Big campaign earlier this month, they have received almost 3,000 inspiring dreams so far.
The competition promises to help one lucky winner and their ‘best bud’ pursue their passions and realise their American dream in the States.
According to Budweiser, nearly half of the competition entries to date fall under the ‘Travel and Adventure’ category and are full of enthusiastic globetrotters looking to go further afield, broaden their horizons and take in new experiences by visiting some of the most iconic landmarks and locations in America. These include the likes of original US highway, Route 66, New York and Las Vegas.
The second most popular category is ‘Entertainment and Culture’ with tonnes of people hoping to make it big in film, production and music.
Many Dream Big entrants keen to set up their own businesses, from tech firms to bars and restaurants. Staying online, the ‘Entrepreneurship and Technology’ category has also seen entries from individuals wanting to develop a new app in Silicon Valley and wannabe vloggers looking to learn the ins and outs of becoming a YouTube blogger.
With a prize fund of €50,000 and a life changing trip to the States on offer, Budweiser is encouraging the people of Ireland to Dream Big.
Dream Big competition entries close at 11:59pm on Sunday 24 April 2016. A judging panel will then select a shortlist of five finalists who will go forward to the final round. The overall winner will then be determined by way of a public vote on www.BudDreamBig.ie and Facebook.com/Budweiser.
