Nashville is one of the cheesiest, soapiest shows currently on air, and we count ourselves amongst its many, many fans. We’re in good company it seems, as First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama is taking fandom to the next level, securing a cameo slot in the musical series!
Michelle will play herself in an upcoming episode of the show, due to air on May 7th in the states. American Idol alum Kellie Pickler will also appear in the episode, as Connie Britton’s character Rayna James appeals for their help in organising a charity concert.
Michelle has previously appeared in Sesame Street, iCarly and The Biggest Loser, and this coming Thursday she will be seen in the season finale of Parks and Recreation.
