We all have a special woman in our lives: it might be your mother, sister, aunt, cousin or a friend.
Chances are you don’t see them every day but they are always at the end of the phone when you need them, and this person always seems to know the right thing to say, no matter what the situation.
This week, our real woman is Ciara Lee Kin.
Ciara was nominated by her sister Orla who tells us, in her own words, why Ciara deserves to win.
“I was widowed two and a half years ago, aged just 31 and Ciara has been there for me every step of the way.”
“When I gave birth two weeks after being widowed she was there, she was also there for every single hospital appointment and forced the doctors to do as I asked when I wasn’t strong enough to ask myself.”
“It continues to this day, Ciara has been my sounding board and when I lose it she tells me I’m normal.”
