Thanksgiving and Christmas can be very tough times for the less fortunate.
Actors Neil Patrick Harris and Bella Thorne took to Downtown Los Angeles this week to help LA Mission dish out hot meals for the homeless of the city.
The pair served up food, donned in their red aprons and posed for snaps while they were hard at work as they helped volunteers feed thousands in LA, just in time for the Christmas season.

Bella Thorne who was joined by her boyfriend Tristan Klier, also took to Twitter to write;

According to the mission, they serve thousands of pounds of turkey and tons of vegetables to men, women and children who cannot afford a decent meal during the holiday season. Their next event will be at Christmas where they’ll feed over 5000 people.
“Every December we have our annual Christmas dinner for families of Skid Row. Lines wrap around the block, as families enjoy a true Winter Wonderland and receive a meal, toys, shoes, and health care.”
The charity will be working throughout the holidays to help the homeless.
