Everyone’s favourite Irish mammy is set to make her film debut as the popular series Mrs. Brown’s Boys gets set for a move to the big screen.
The cast and crew will begin shooting the flick on Dublin’s Moore Street next September.
According to The Irish Independent, the film will be financed by Universal Studios and marketed under the title Mrs. Brown D.
The budget for the film is believed to be in the region of €4.8 million.

Mrs. Brown’s Boys will make the move to the big screen in 2014
Mrs. Brown’s Boys actor Brendan O’Carroll said: “It’s Dublin humour so you’re going to need Dublin actors and technicians to get it right for the big screen.”
The Irish comedian will be fronting the new BBC One show Mrs. Brown’s Celebrities, in which he dresses in character and quizzes his guests on Tinseltown goings-on. The new show is set to air in Spring 2013.
Speaking of the quiz Brendan said: “It will be fun to see how Mrs Brown copes with a quiz, as she knows as much about trivia as my backside knows about snipe shooting.
