Lupita N’yongo and Gwendoline Christie are the latest stars to join the cast of the new Star Wars film.
Lupita, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar this year for her role in 12 Years A Slave and Gwendoline, who plays soldier Brienne of Tarth in hit series Game of Thrones will join a host of famous faces in the new film including Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson.

“I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII,” said Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
“It’s thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape”.

It’s not all new faces though as some of the original stars of the Star Wars saga will return including Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams and it has been scheduled for a worldwide release on December 18, 2015.
