The cast members of Modern Family have agreed new deals after a dispute over contracts emerged last week.
Sofia Vergara, Ed O’Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burell, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson filed a lawsuit last week because their contracts were thought to be illegal under Californian law.

The former contracts prevented the actors from securing other work in film and TV and bound them to the network for seven years. The matter has been settled out of court.
