
Tensions are high in England today, which is understandable after yesterday’s Woolwich attack.
But there’s one innocent energy company that is getting a lot of undeserved hassle on Twitter, JOE.ie reports.
The English Defence League (EDL) is a far-right group with a strong anti-Muslim agenda. Their protest clashed with police on the streets of Woolwich last night as they chanted anti-Muslim messages.
People decided to share their disgust with the EDL and their opportunity to nab some publicity, but they’re contacting EDF, a well-known energy supplier, instead.
Someone has tried to set them straight today…
