Michael J Fox to Star in New Comedy Show

Having taken a break from acting following his diagnosis, Michael J Fox is ready to return to the small screen in a comedy.

Michael J Fox is returning to television having taken time put after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

The actor, who rose to fame over a decade ago in Back to the Future, is starring in a new NBC comedy based on his own life.

Arguably the film that made him a star, Michael in Back to the Future.

According to reports Michael is said to play a husband and father who is dealing with a number of issues including Parkinson’s.

Speaking about this new role the 51 year old actor said: ‘I’m extremely pleased to be back at NBC with a great creative team and a great show.’

Michael appeared in a number of television shows including Family Ties and Spin City before he decided to set up the Michael J Fox Foundation and focus on finding a cure for Parkinson’s.

Michael has starred in a number of NBC shows including Spin City.

It was also reported that the television award-winner is now hoping to take on more acting roles.
