Met Éireann has issued a status orange weather warning as dense fog is expected across the country this evening.
According to the forecaster, fog will form in most places this evening and will become dense throughout the night.
The warning is in effect from 6.00pm this evening (Saturday, November 29th) until noon tomorrow (Sunday, November 30th).
Apart from the fog, tonight is expected to be mainly dry with some outbreaks of rain in the north. There will be a risk of frost with lowest temperatures around 2 to 5 degrees Celsius.
The fog will take time to clear tomorrow morning and could remain in some places throughout the day. Sunday overall is expected to be dry with sunny spells.
Temperatures will drop in the evening with lows of under 5 degrees. There is the possibility of more fog or mist as well as frost and some drizzle in parts.
