Spice Girl Mel C has admitted that when it comes to Saturday night television, she’s not a massive fan of the X-Factor despite the fact that her band mate Mel B is a guest judge on the programme. Awkward…
Mel openly said that she had “mixed feelings” about the reality television talent show and that it was something she loved to hate.
“It’s a show I love to hate, I do enjoy it, but I do a lot of swearing at the TV at the same time,” said Mel C, speaking to Heat magazine.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to move forward in their career, but I think a lot of people get exploited,” she added.
The Spice Girl also had a few opinions about Mel B’s appearance on the programme as a guest judge.
“I was very proud of her. I didn’t think she was mean, I thought she was honest,” said Mel C.
“She was probably more blunt than I would have the courage to be – but the great thing about Melanie is that she doesn’t care what people say or what people think, and I think it’s important in a show like that to have someone in that role,” she added.

Mel C’s band mate Mel B is currently a guest judge on the X-Factor.
Mel C is currently playing the role of Mary Magdalene in stage show Jesus Christ Superstar, and she revealed that rehearsing for the Spice Girls’ performance at the Closing Ceremony of the London Olympic Games was the happiest time she’d ever had with the rest of the girls.
“We rehearsed together for about 10 days and that was the best time that I have ever had with those girls,” she said.
Okay, we have to ask: how do you feel about the X-Factor? Honestly? Do you think it’s good this year? Do you still love it or are you getting bored with the whole reality TV talent show thing?
