Former Westlife star Brian McFadden agreed to participate in a new Irish reality TV show-after being told he’ll be fired from his Aussie job.

The RTÉ production, ‘The Hit’, will feature Brian as one of the panelists. The Irish star is returning to Ireland in the coming days to begin filming parts of the show, which is presented by our very own columnist Laura Whitmore.

The talent show has only been commissioned for a pilot show and has yet to be granted a full series. This gamble means Brian is not guaranteed any income yet in Ireland.

The Irishman, living in Australia, is currently a judge on ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ but has been told he’ll be sacked as producers are said to be getting annoyed by his short temper and frequent outbursts.

McFadden recently lost his temper on ‘Dancing with the Stars’, where his fiancée ‘Fade Street’s Vogue Williams was taking part, and was aggressive with producers on the show.

His own show, Australia’s Got Talent, has experienced plenty of bad publicity in the past few weeks because of Brian’s angry outbursts on the production. This has resulted in the viewer ratings dropping severely for the show.

TV insiders have revealed McFadden is the only judge being considered for firing after this season’s final show. Aussie artist Dannii Minogue also stars as a judge on the show.

A source told the Irish Daily Mirror the show needs to be shaken up;

“The talent just wasn’t there this year. And while everyone still believes in the show, we definitely have to shake the judging panel up a bit. Dannii is so well loved and professional and so easy to work with. But when that temper of Brian’s sets off, he’s very difficult to work with.”

This news comes as Brian and Vogue plan their luxurious castle wedding in Italy for September 2nd.
