This is so sad.
Steve Mershon was strolling along a beach recently when he came across a bottle washed up on shore. Inside was a heartbreaking note, written by a child to another child who had passed away.
It read:
“Dear Daniel, I’m really sorry that you pass away and if you were still alive me and you will be playing football,soccer and basketball and be playing with Mattew and Oscar and Brandon. I am in fifth grade and you were my best friend and our favorite song was Austin Moon and I hope you fun with Jesus.
From your best friend, Jonothon Torres.”
Steve, who is from Florida, was so moved by the letter that he posted a public response to Jonothon in the hopes of finding him. He shared his powerful message on Facebook.
