A 46-year-old German man is facing five years imprisonment after accidentally killing his partner during sex.
Oliver Dietmann is on trial in Mannheim. The court heard details of the bedroom death and the sex act that led to the tragic fatality of Rica Varna, also 46.
The court heard that Dietmann and Varna often used vegetables during sexual activity. On the night in question, Dietmann admitted the pair had consumed four bottles of wine and several glasses of schnapps.
According to The Daily Mail, a post mortem revealed that Varna was over four times the legal limit.
Dietmann told the court that he had placed the cucumber in his lover’s mouth after it had served its purpose. He stated:
“I put it in her mouth. But suddenly I saw there was smoke coming from the kitchen. I forgot that I had put a piece of meats on the stove for my dog.
“I ran to the kitchen, fed my dog and then went on to the balcony to smoke a cigarette”.
When he returned to the room Varna was unconscious.
“I tried to get the cucumber pieces out of her mouth,’ he said, ‘but they were so mushy I couldn’t”.
The medical experts said that the cucumber became lodged in her throat and cut off her air supply. A verdict is expected today.
