This adventure classic, directed by Steven Spielberg, never gets old. Sam Neill and Laura Dern visit a dinosaur park but things soon go wrong when a storm hits the island and an employee crashes the security systems.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Results – BBC One (7.20pm)
Tune in to find out who shone at Wembley and who cracked under the pressure. Nine couples will be hoping to go through to next week but only eight will make it. Girls Aloud will also be performing their Children in Need single Something New.

Bridget Jones’ Diary – RTÉ Two (9.00pm)
In this romantic comedy Renée Zellweger plays a single woman who decides that it’s about time she got her life in order, including finding herself a man. When two come along at one, she’s not quite sure what to do. Also starring Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.

Dragons’ Den – BBC Two (9.00pm)
From a paintbrush to a golf glove to an electronic bed (ooer), the dragons are in for a treat this evening but will any of them invest in the hopeful entrepreneurs? There really is only one way to find out.

Love/Hate – RTÉ Two (9.30pm)
Tonight in the crime drama Nidge tries to persuade Dano he didn’t play a part in his father’s disappearance while Siobhan is finding it hard to cope with what has happened. Robert Sheehan and Tom Vaughah-Lawlor star.
