Lindsay Lohan is making big plans. The actress is getting her acting career back on track, and this includes starring in one of best friend Gaga’s upcoming music videos.
Li-Lo has her diary full. Her film ‘Canyons’ is being released this month, after just a small bit of diva-drama on set, and the American actress has already been confirmed for the starring role in the next Scary Movie film, taking the place of actress Anna Faris.
The troubled actress is scribbling a few more dates into her diary as she is set to star in one of Lady Gaga’s eccentric music videos. The music video will be off the singer’s much-anticipated album, ‘ARTPOP’.
Gaga and Lohan have become best friends and made headlines by hanging out at the Chateau Marmont last month. Gaga uploaded much-awaited-for photographs of the night onto her Little Monsters official website. According to the New York Post, it seems the friendship is going a step further now.
“Lady Gaga and Lindsay caused quite a stir last month when they had their ‘sleepover’ at the Chateau Marmont,” an insider told the newspaper, “and now it seems like the actress will be starring in Gaga’s new video from her upcoming album.”
This is all part of the Lindsay-Lohan-comeback, along with her role in the Lifetime movie ‘Liz and Dick’ and her part opposite porn star James Deen in ‘Canyons’.
But the Gaga gig would represent a more mainstream opportunity for the actress.
“Due to Gaga’s superstar status, this would be Lindsay’s biggest role in years,” the source said.
Gaga has just started to let details of her new album ‘ARTPOP’ trickle out to the public. She tweeted the title out over the weekend and teased fans by blasting out her new song on the streets of New York.
Gaga certainly knows how to get people talking. And she seems like a fairly cool friend helping Li-Lo get back on the Hollywood acting track.
