Katy Perry’s Film Fails to Draw in Audiences

It's only just out but if the first weekend ticket sales in the US are anything to go by, it doesn't look like Katy Perry's documentary is going to do as well as expected.

As it turns out, not that many people actually want to go and see a part of Katy Perry.

Her film Part of Me hit the big screen last week and so far hasn’t done quite as well as expected. In fact reports in the media are saying that it is one step away from being declared a ‘flop.’

The documentary which follows the star on tour and also touches on her turbulent relationship with Russell Brand didn’t draw in enough people at the weekend to even match the budget used to make the film.

We’re sure the Wide Awake star will be hoping her European fans will bring up ticket sales but The Amazing Spider-Man may just get in the way of that.

The superhero flick starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone has already taken in over two hundred million worldwide and is topping box office charts.

As if that’s not enough the final instalment of the Batman trilogy is due out in a few weeks which leaves Perry with an even smaller window to play with.
