JLS have a lot to thank X Factor for considering that five years ago they were aspiring singers and now they are one of the biggest groups on the planet.
The boys, who came second in the competition back in 2008, clearly still have a bond with the show but have admitted that they think Simon Cowell needs to return.

Simon Cowell left the UK X Factor to concentrate on the US version.
Marvin Humes, who just yesterday revealed that he and wife Rochelle Wiseman are expecting, told BANG Showbiz: “Simon has to return, he has to. He’s the best judge in the world. He has to return, definitely.
“He still does Britain’s Got Talent and US X Factor so with his schedule it will be very difficult but I think he has to come back.”
The boys admitted that they all still enjoy the show although aren’t so keen on the negativity surrounding Christopher Maloney and Rylan Clark.
“One thing I don’t like is the witch hunt with Chris and Rylan. I think it’s unfair. Those guys, all they did was enter a competition to try to change their lives and get exposure,” Marvin explained.
“It’s not their fault they’re still here. People are voting for them. Everyone says this thing about a fix. What is a fix?”

This year’s judging panel and show have come in for a bit of criticism.
Well if there is anyone who can turn the struggling show’s fortunes around, it is Simon but whether he will return and who he will be joining on the panel are uncertain.
Gary Barlow expressed his concerns about the quality of the show at the beginning of the live finals while Tulisa Contostavlos is said to be treading on very thin ice with her behaviour implying that both could be leaving after the current series.
Which means next year we could be looking at an entirely new (well not entirely, Louis Walsh will be there) judging panel…
