JK Rowling’s response to a fan asking about Dumbeldore’s sexuality is all kinds of brilliant. In fact you could say it’s magical (sorry, we couldn’t resist).
On Tuesday Ana Kocovic tweeted the Harry Potter author, who spoke out about the Hogwarts headmaster’s sexuality after the final book was published, to thank her for penning the franchise.
She then added: “I wonder why you said that Dumbledore is a gay because I can’t see him in that way.” (The tweet has since been deleted.)
Rowling’s response, which you can see below, was so good that it has received thousands of retweets and favourites.

A number of her followers praised the comeback. Even Ana showed her appreciation by writing: “amazing answer… Yes you are absolutely right. Such an inspiration!!!”
