Book yourself a hair appointment to help a really important cause.

The ISPCC Childline Get Blown Away! campaign will see hair salons around Ireland donating the cost of a blow dry to the children’s charity.

Get your hair looking its glossy best and help a great Irish charity? That’s what we’d call a win-win situation.

Some of Ireland’s most recognisable faces – including Amy Huberman, Eoghan McDermott and Angela Scanlon – have lent their support to the campaign.

From Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th May, each hairdresser in participating salons will donate the price of one blow dry to ISPCC Childline.

The fundraising project will help raise vital funds to ensure that the ISPCC Childline service is ready to provide support to more brave young people, who desperately need to talk to someone.

Childline is the only 24-hour listening service which seeks to support and empower children and young people in Ireland.

Last year, Childline had conversations with almost 400,000 children and young people who contacted the service for help and advice with wide-ranging serious issues, including abuse, violence, exploitation, addiction and suicide.
