We’ve all fantasised about Mr Grey’s bedroom antics, but one Irish woman’s fantasy has become a real-life longing.
One Irish housewife wrote to an advice column today, saying she is considering leaving her husband to try and find a real-life dominant like Mr Grey.
The woman said she has “fallen in love with Christian Grey from the Fifty Shades books”.
It looks like E.L James’ erotic novel may have more life-changing experiences to answer for than women willing to try out one or two of Christian Grey’s bedroom moves with their husbands.
The woman said she knows she sounds crazy but thinks she would be really happy with someone like Mr Grey. The letter tells the story of her and her husband’s difficult marriage.
“I have fallen in love with Christian Grey from the Fifty Shades books-and I’m thinking of leaving my husband to search for someone like him.
I know that sounds crazy but I really think I would be happy with someone like Mr Grey.
My husband and I are in our thirties an have been married for ten years-but we argue everyday.
He gets angry and worked up over nothing and I don’t know if our marriage is even worth it.”

The letter in today’s Irish Sun newspaper.
Deidre, the Irish Sun‘s agony aunt, advises the woman, telling her the books were created to turn on women, but often fantasy doesn’t work out in reality.
The woman is told living “that kind of relationship”, we’re guessing Deidre means the hardcore BDSM, lash-whipping sex life, can feel very different long-term. We bet it does.
She tells the lady to face up to the reality that there is no Mr Grey, but she does have her Mr Real. That’s nice.
It can’t be any good for the husband’s ego for his wife to choose a paperback book over you as a bedtime buddy…
