Favourite Irish Vlogger Clisare has made an emotional video about her mothers passing as part of The Independents #LivingWithCancer campaign.
The video tag asks vloggers to answer a series of questions about the impact of cancer on their lives.
In an incredibly emotional and honest piece, Clare shares memories of her mother including the moment she said goodbye.
Clare also bravely shares that her father had previously lived with cancer but is now in remission.
In the piece she says “Many films, when the main character dies, are like, that’s it now. They’re in a better place now… Unfortunately in real life, it doesn’t work that way.
“It doesn’t end when the person dies, or when they get the all clear”
“The one emotion I would associate with cancer is fear. You live with fear that it will come back for your whole life”.
Other vloggers have featured videos using the tag, and it is hoped that more people will share their experiences to raise money for The Irish Cancer Society.
