Schools in Ireland have been ranked in the world’s top 20 according to a new survey.
The research, which was carried out by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, ranked the schools on their scores in maths and science.
Ireland were placed 15th in the rankings which rated 76 countries in total, with the UK five places behind, and the USA 13 places behind.
