The wonder of Irish lads continues to boggle us this week as one reader, Lori Gavin got in touch to share the weird and wonderful response that she got on Tinder.
Lori (21) who is from Mayo but is currently studying in UL, was delighted when she made a match with a boy who shall remain nameless.
“I’ve had a lot of weird chat up lines on Tinder,” she said, “But this one wins. This made my day! I haven’t replied, but let’s be real, I’m definitely going for the food option!” she said.
Indeed, this certainly made our day too, as the keen lad gave Lori three options for her to choose from.
“Please note your intentions from one of the three options,” his message reads. “One – Mediocre small talk that eventually leads to nothing – respond with ‘minorbants’. Two – You want to get to know me a bit and would/could potentially meet up – respond with drinksnfood.”
And possibly, the best of them all: “Three – you want a quick f**k and chuck and liked the look of me – respond with ‘gimme that’.”
Hmmm… we really don’t know how Lori could resist!
