SpunOut.ie, Ireland’s leading Youth information and advice website, is hosting its Women’s Academy for yet another year.

The Women’s Academy aims to empower participants, aged 18 to 25, as leaders in society and agents of personal and social change.

This year’s event will take place Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th of July.

Specific workshops will be held over the two days on areas such as communications, activism and wellbeing as well as panel discussions, guest speakers and much more.

In recent years speakers at the event include Orla Tinsley (Cystic Fibrosis campaigner and journalist), Caoimhe Butterly (peace activist), Senator Kathryn Reilly, Will St. Leger (street artist and musician), poets and activists Sarah Clancy and Colm Keegan, mental health campaigner Caroline McGuigan, disability campaigner Suzy Byrne and SpunOut.ie founder Ruairi McKiernan.

Journalist and broadcaster Una Mullally will open the academy this year.

Entrance on both days is free, however all potential attendees must fill out a short application form. The deadline for all entries is 5pm on June 30th.
