Instagram’s new app Boomerang is here and people are loving it.
Boomerang is all about GIFs and it lets you take a burst of five photos which are then stitched together to make a super short video.
The app launched today on iOS and Android and it’s the latest in a series of new video style features across social media.

Apple’s recent iOS update allowed for Live Photos, Facebook introduced GIFS as profile photos and apps such as Phhhoto allow you to create various types of GIFs.
Boomerang videos need to be taken within the app but once that’s done, you can share them to Facebook, Instagram and through messages.
