Hannah Moore says the move made her feel fat and ugly.

A new mum of twins, who shared a post-pregnancy snap of her stretchmarks on Instagram, was surprised and hurt to find her account had been deleted.

Hannah Moore says she uploaded the snaps to give her a confidence boost after giving birth to twin girls.

The 20-year old told her followers that “nobody should be judged by their size because everyone is beautiful”.

The mum was shocked though when she realised her account was deleted for breaching the site’s decency guidelines. Site administration deemed the images as containing inappropriate “nudity and violence”.

Speaking to The Mirror, Hannah said blocking her account made her feel her body is “clearly fat, ugly and disgusting and it made people feel sick”.

Speaking to the paper, she explained:

“Two minutes after the picture was uploaded my account got closed down, my mouth just dropped and my eyes watered. I don’t know why, it was out of the blue but I decided to post a picture of my belly on Instagram because I’ve had twins.

“I had written underneath the picture how unconfident I had always been, how relationships have been hard and how hard it is to find clothes that I like. I want not just myself but other women thin or bigger to love themselves and love their size because everyone is beautiful.”

Hannah, from Broxburn, West Lothian gave birth to twin daughters Lily and Grace with fiancé David Johnstone in June last year.

Having been previously bullied about her weight in school, Hannah said the blow made her self-conscious.

While the social photo sharing site allow photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding, the guidelines state that “for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram.”

A spokeswoman for Instagram said:

“It was a technical mistake and the account has been restored.”
