We all know that animals tend to get a little over-excited and go a bit mad whenever they see snow for the first time and Fletcher the cat is no exception.
Fletcher has achieved online fame after his owner, Jeff Charles, filmed him as he experienced snow for the first time in his life.
Fletcher’s owner Jeff was sent home from work early due to heavy snow in the UK. He decided to see what Fletcher would make of the white stuff and the resulting footage has gone viral.
“He wasn’t forced to come out and was free to go in at any time,” said Jeff.
“He spent the day playing in the snow with his brother, both coming in occasionally to warm their cockles,” he added.
So why does Fletcher keep hopping around the place like a mad thing? Jeff speculates that the cat was trying to catch snowflakes but couldn’t figure out where they disappeared to when they hit the ground.
