Yet another shooting spree has resulted in senseless tragedy and utter devastation in the United States today.
Early this morning a gunman entered Sandy Hook Elementary School fire. The shooting has claimed 27 lives, including 20 children, 6 adults and the gunman – 24-year-old Adam Lanza.
Lanza’s mother was a teacher at the school, and is among the dead, along with students from her kindergarten classroom.
President Obama delivered the above statement regarding the tragedy this evening.
