32-year-old Rodrigo Alves, from Brazil, has appeared in multiple plastic surgery programmes including Channel 4’s Make Me a Famous Face.
The air host has become known for his addiction to plastic surgery, a habit that has seen him go under the knife 42 times.
Having spent over £300,000 on surgeries, Alves claims he’s in pursuit of the perfect resemblance to Barbie’s other half Ken.
However, his latest surgery has been rejected by his body and Alves has reportedly been admitted to hospital with necrosis, a disease which causes your flesh to die.
The first indication of the necrosis was when a hole formed in his nose and surgeons discovered his body was rejecting the synthetic cartilage. There is a danger that the necrosis will spread, eating further tissue in his body.
Alves took to Instagram to share the news with his followers.
He writes:
“Like with any surgery there is a risk …At least I get in trouble on my own expenses and I don’t blame my doctors or anyone else [sic]”
He also says that he will be waiting a few months before having another rhinoplasty.
