Google Zeitgeist has revealed the top trending and most-search queries among Irish users on the internet.
This year we’re more creative, we were Googling ‘How to draw’ as opposed to ‘How to shuffle’ last year. We were obsessed with Ireland’s Olympic gold medallist Katie Taylor, we could have told you that one, and we Googled Craig Doyle more than other Irish celebrity, for reasons we will never know.
Unfortunately, the death of a person will always trend on the search engine, think Whitney Houston, Jill Meagher and April Jones.
And the ministers we wanted to know about, or find out what they were doing with themselves? Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan and the Minister for Health Dr James Reilly.
