Fair play to him.
Nearing graduation from Californian Baptist University, Graham Allgood came up with a very clever way of nailing his dream internship.
Spotted on Mashable, Graham really really really wanted to work for Horizon Media and so he set about getting their attention, through the use of Snapchat.
He designed a custom filter using Horizon Media’s logo interspersed with their headquarters which made for a pretty slick look.
The next step was to purchase an on-demand Snapchat geofilter, priced at €29.65, which people use for weddings, birthdays and special events.
Graham scheduled this to run during the company’s work hours and it wasn’t long before they noticed it.
Hey @HorizonMCareers! Hope you like your new Snapchat geofilter! I would love to be your intern this summer and join the #horizonnation!

He tweeted them, they asked him to send the jpg and what do you know, he only went and got the job.

Innovative thinking or what!
When Horizon sends you a snapchat (after my interview in their LA office) to let you know you made the team in NYC! pic.twitter.com/IslZ3Y5ZBd
