If you’re not into Homeland you must be living under a rock or deep in the backarse of nowhere because it is the only show to be watching this winter.
Claire Danes’ has really nailed the unstable character of Carrie but we’re under no illusion that the real star of the show is British actor Damian Lewis who this year won an Emmy award for his portrayal of Nicolas Brody.
However, Damian admitted that the world has mistaken his talented acting abilities for mere forgetfulness and puts his Emmy win down to desperately trying to remember his lines!
Speaking to GQ magazine he said: “I know it looks like I’m thinking deep thoughts on the show, but I’m probably just trying to remember my next line.

“He’s a lot of fun to play because he behaves badly in extremes.”
Damian also revealed that playing Brody is beginning to have serious implications on his British accent.
“At this point, I don’t know what accent will come out when I order coffee in the morning,” he said.
