Home and Away star Charles Cottier has said he plans to pursue his career in the US.
The actor has played the soap’s Dexter Walker for four years.
“I will move back to Brisbane to spend time with my family” he told TV Week. “I’ll do some auditions and head to the US at the end of the year.”

Cottier has already filmed his final scenes in Summer Bay, which are to be aired on Australian screens next week.
“I was 17 when I first started [on Home and Away]. I’ve grown up and learnt so much about the entertainment industry.”
The Aussie soap airs at 1.25pm weekdays on RTÉ One and 6.30pm weekdays on RTÉ Two.
