Our pick of the day is a documentary that will most certainly interest Dancing on Ice fans but also considering the Winter Olympics have kicked off, many will also be intrigued to watch; Torvill and Dean.
On Valentine’s Day in 1984, British ice-dancing pair Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean skated into the record books when their routine to music from Ravel’s Bolero received the highest set of marks ever awarded, including nine perfect scores of 6 for artistic impression.
This documentary tells the story of the performance, with contributions by Torvill and Dean.
Torvill and Dean will air tonight on Aertv, BBC2 at 23.05.
