Model Heidi Klum said that Project Runway is like another child to her.
The show which recruits fashion designers and makes them compete for the chance to display their collection at New York Fashion Week.
Project Runway was nominated for four Emmy nominations earlier this week and returned to US screens on Thursday.
The 39-year-old German model said her children don’t watch the programme, which also features judges Nina Garcia, Michael Kors and mentor Tim Gunn.
Mentor Tim Gun ‘makes it work’
“My children don’t really watch a lot of television yet,” she said. “Now my daughter, because she’s eight, friends are telling her more and more about Project Runway and she’s like, ‘Oh yeah, I visited my mom there a few times.’ She doesn’t really put it all together yet which I think is really nice.”
Heidi has three children with her husband Seal but the pair separated in January of this year.
