It’s seriously about time.
The world’s first hangover clinic has opened its doors to droves of hungover Australians. The clinic, located in Sydney, offers patients IV treatment of vitamins and fluids to help them get back on their feet.
According to 3 News, treatment doesn’t come cheap with sessions costing upward of $140 a go. The minimum session is half an hour of Vitamin B and C mixed with a hydration solution. Sounds shockingly appealing.
“Having intravenous fluids, that can have benefits,” says clinic worker Rod Lang.
He explains it’s better than the fast food option.
The clinic also contains a VIP lounge for group facilitation.
Critics of the clinic say the treatment on offer merely encourages binge drinking. “We don’t sell any alcohol,” says staff member Max Petro. “There’s no one binge drinking in our clinic. We’re just there to make sure people can get on with their day.”
While it’s outrageously pricey for the service, it beats our usual methods of trying to bargain with a higher power. We’re willing to give it a shot.
