You can’t beat a night in front of Grey’s Anatomy and season nine will be jam-packed with even more drama.
According to E! Online, Jessica Capshaw, who plays Arizona in the hit medical drama, said that her characters relationship with Callie (Sara Ramirez) is going to face a rocky patch.
If you remember, Dr. Arizona had her leg amputated at the end of last season when all the doctors from Seattle Grace were caught in a devastating freak plane crash, however it was unclear which survivor did all of the amputating!
“It’s going to be tough in the beginning,” Jessica confirmed.

Arizona and Callie face difficult times in the upcoming season
“The first couple of episodes deal with how the leg came to be taken, who took it, and not only who is to blame, but who is responsible,” she said.
“The worst thing happens to you, and you think it happens at the hands of the person who is supposed to be the best thing that ever happened to you, so it’s a tough dilemma.”
“But, you have to kind of lean into it,” continued Jessica. “I mean, I have such a gift—I got to play this person that was just sunshine, light and everything good in the world, and now it’s come to pass that there are opposites in life, and you have to be able to see what the other side of her is. And you will,” she finished.

What will we do without Lexi?
Callie and Arizona have become one of prime-time TV’s best-loved couples so we hope they work it out.
We’re still trying to figure out how we’re going to be able to watch the show without Lexie Grey! Sob!
